Hello! Thanks for visiting. My name is Laura. I'm a communications specialist and writer. I love collaboration and facilitating meaningful conversations. I am passionate about community, creativity and storytelling.
I do a few things with my time. I work in public education, managing arts events and senior school processes for Albert Park College. I am a student of Counselling at the Australian College of Applied Psychology; I am working towards a career in youth mental health. I produce creative work as a theatre maker and writer. I co-founded Green Room Award-winning performance collective Grit Theatre in 2009. I have written for Slow Magazine, Maggie Journal, Concrete Playground, Keep Brave and Accidental Discharge magazine.
I love to write about contemplative living, feminism and community development as social activism. You can commission a piece from me by getting in contact here.
I also take on contracts in editing, content writing and marketing. My clients include Advision, The Butterfly Club, Feminist Writers Festival, Ilbijerri Theatre, La Trobe University and Maxine McQueen.
In 2016 I was featured in a profile by Ramona Magazine for Girls.
